I need to pull all the POIs from TomTom (or any other software) and have them filled in my database. Is there a way to do this? Should I try "GPS Assist"? It does mention POI manager but I don't understand if it can export the POIs.
TIA

As far as I understand it the DumpOV2 utility will only work with custom POI files.

I doubt TomTom will allow you to extract their POI data - they paid for that to TeleAtlas...

You need to use POIedit, which can be found in the downloads section of this site. This will enable you to open/edit and then save the POI files in various formats.
The POIs are stored as .ov2 files which are saved in the map folder on your memory card. Copy these from your card and open them in POIEdit.

You can only open POI files that you have added to TT and not the POIs that are built in to TT.

Can anyone tell me what type of file I would need to save my custom POI so they can be used by Smart ST 1.91? Thanks.
