Hi since I updated to Active Sync 3.7.1 my TomTom navigator 3 just will not work, all I get is Cannot open COM1: Port does not exist!
I am using a Ipaq 3970 with PC2003, TomTom 3 / GPS 3.03 via serial cable to a leadtech GPS.
It was all working perfectly?
Please help
PS - I have unchecked receive all incoming beams but it made no difference! |

Do you have any external or clip-on keyboards installed? Have you tried a soft-reset? _________________ Darren Griffin |

And did you install it at the same time as the problem appeared? All keyboards use COM1, some can be disabled in software to allow COM1 to be accessed by other devices such as your GPS, others need to be uninstalled. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks guys - problem fixed, there is an option in the KB program "enable keyboad" unchecked this and TomTom now works fine! |
