TT3.03 Bluetooth and iPAQ 2210 - Success!

After all the discussions about memory card speeds on this forum I did a bit of research on Google. The SD card I had (a Kingston 256MB) appears to have a 2MB/s access speed and the much praised Panasonic cards have 10MB/s.

I couldn't find a Panasonic card (although I didn't look very hard) but ebuyer sell cards from Kingmax which also have 10MB/s speed (and the 256MB one only costs £30). I bought the card, arrived a few days ago and I've had no problems with Tom Tom since. The BT link appears rock solid with no drop outs and I've just come back from a weekend driving around 350 miles of Welsh back roads with faultless performance (before the Kingmax card I had regular BT dropouts ~10 min intervals and the occasional lock up). At last! Fast SD cards definitely seem to be the answer.

My recipe for success is TT 3.03, GPS 3.03, iPAQ h2210 ROM v1.10, Kingmax 256MB SD card and no BT fix patches (I've tried the Beta patch someone suggested on this forum and, while it improved BT performance, it caused frequent lock ups of the system).

I have experienced the bluetooth connection problem with the following Setup below, I had constand Bluetooth Drop Out Issues I found the problem was fixed with the Rom Update IPAQ SP27073 1.10 from the HP website
