Cameras and other POI no longer displaying on Garmin 76

Yesterday I updated the camera database, as usual, and Garmin also kindly updated the unit. Now the unit will not display any of my icons (22x22). I have re-downloaded, and tried backed-up images; all to no avail. The unit will search and locate various POIs, and display their locations, but not display the POI. Any thoughts, anyone?

Somewhere in the settings is a checkbox to display various items

By default Cyclops is selected and other databases unselected

Garmin update probably reset to default

I can't identify where the setting is as I ditched my Garmin for Google Maps 3 years ago

Thank you for the response. I did check out all the tick boxes I could find; Garmin had not interfered with my Proximity Alerts / non-Cyclops option, which I took as a positive. Since all POIs have disappeared, I was left wondering if Garmin had changed the default icon sizing (from 22x22 in my case) for some reason. I shall have to investigate further. Without having the images showing camera positions I might also consider moving to Google maps.

My last Garmin was a DS61 and the 22x22 were there but tiny so I switched to 44x44

In your Garmin CSV/GPI folder do you have the appropriate .GPI file ?

I don't understand the question regarding appropriateness. My Garmin / POI folder has 22 .GPI files; 11 dated 1/5/2025, 1 dated 24/4/2025 and 10 dated 8/12/2022. I have also tried 44x44 icons; still no display.

A lot of those GPI files will be Garmin or Cyclops specific

The one that is appropriate is the one written by POILoader which you should be able to determine by it's name

If not, go again so the POIloader file has a later date for identification

Strange it's not showing the cameras when driving or producing alerts

It does produce alerts, which is something, but does not identify locations, which I do want. I have contacted Garmin for assistance.

My Garmin 76 has also lost the camera icons on the screen but still do the verbal warning and top banner with the description........ Shocked

Was this a very recent loss? Which software version is your 76 using? I still get verbal warnings, but no top banner description. Good to know that it is possibly a Garmin action causing it - hope that it is not deliberate.
