When connected to my Ford system the floating speedometer display on my phone screen gives incorrect information but works when not connected. Any ideas? _________________ Drivelux |

When connected, or not, is the phone in the same position ? _________________ DashCam:

Yes, it's in a dashboard holder. The average speed showing is probably correct but the actual speed shows between 2 and 9mph whether stationary or moving at speed. _________________ Drivelux |

The only other thing I can think of is that some phone/car combinations have to be tweaked between using the car or phone GPS
This is assuming your car has built in GPS _________________ DashCam:

I cannot see any specific GPS settings to tweak, all the backgrounds and permissions see correct. It happens on more than one phone.
There is a former topic down the page in this group on the speed being incorrect when connected to Android Auto which could be similar to my issue but this topic gives a database error when I try to read it. _________________ Drivelux |

I'm clutching at straws now
Could it be the Ford heated windscreen blocking GPS ? _________________ DashCam:

Try now: https://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=100135
I have fixed the issue that was causing it to time out.
