...but the tyre marks would have to remain parallel because the tyres stay on the axle and remain the same distance apart rather than crossing over _________________ Andy

Not if it were a 2 dimentional car with only two wheels, in which case you could draw all sorts of pretty pictures on the road with it.
Oh look a 2d car with two wheels! _________________ Dom

If Dennis' white van had a pointy nose like that car then the deer and peasants would have bounced off and he wouldn't be half as upset about it _________________ Andy

Half as upset? He'd wet himself laughing, and then look for another (I know as I saw the pictures). A new olympic sport of Deer Lobbing maybe.

Dennis probably has a collection of antlers as trophies inside his van
Hadn't you heard that they're introducing deer tossing into the next 'White Van Man Games'...it's the event after the "where did I leave my wallet" game
Seriously, though, I do feel sorry for Dennis who didn't have much work in the run up to his holiday and then he went and lost his wallet. Personally, I never tend to carry much cash for that very reason - credit and debit cards can be cancelled. _________________ Andy

I can remember buying travellers cheques??? I can't imagine what that was all about now when I think about it. A credit card and some foreign dosh is all you need now. _________________ Dom

I have carefully refrained from posting the deer stripe picture out of consideration for those of tender sensibilities - I sent it to mostdom to make him feel ill, because it's no more than he deserves (Audi owner and suchlike criminality).
I am also old enough to remember traveller's cheques. We just have loadsa Euros and never change them back to English. I've been doing the cash thing for years - the wallet's normally quite safe zipped inside the bumbag which I might even be accused of sleeping in. Unfortunately (and unusually) I was carrying three such items - two wallets (mine and Vera's) and one purse for coins. I'm convinced that when I paid for something, I took out my purse to put the coins change in and put the wallet down on the counter whilst I did so, then walked off with only the purse and the purchase. The shopkeeper said he'd seen and found nothing, so instead of that, I must have missed the bumbag when I put the wallet in. Other people have said I made someone happy - Vera says I made her happy too, because it wasn't her wallet!!
The insurance company kept me on the (my bill, lo-call) phone for 20 minutes taking down details, then ended up saying they'd send me a form to fill in ( ) "within 3 to 5 working days". The three have passed already! _________________ Dennis

It's like an old joke:
Margaret Thatcher was flying around on her election tour and when she landed in one airport she told an aide "throw £100 off and make someone happy"
Her aide replied "why don't you throw two £50 notes off and make two people happy?"
Another aide said "why don't you throw ten £10 notes off and make ten people happy?"
Somebody else responded "why don't you throw yourself off and make everybody happy?" _________________ Andy
