Isn't that descrimination or something? Can't we have your privileges removed for saying things like this
...and besides, I'm a northerner living in t'south
please check your facts Sir Dennis, Mr Moderator (or whatever you choose to be called) before you go upsetting 'your' members
Can you take White Van Man to the European Court of Human Rights for descrimination?
...plus I still haven't got free membership - so that must be double discrimination _________________ Andy

Thay haven't managed to catch him for those other things yet, so what chance do you have. Slippery them Northern DentNed van men.

I used to be in the school choir where I and one other's voices broke early in life. The choir master just couldn't mix two bass vocalists in to a group of castrated boys and ultimatly asked us both to sing mime.
Waste of pure talent I say! _________________ Dom

ah yes, I'd forgotten about that...
I'll just have to join the queue
His turn will come when he attacks a bigger animal, like a cow or a horse and his shiny white van doesn't escape so lightly _________________ Andy

Just noticed, what a useless speller i am.
Can't these forums have a spell check?
I know that DennisN does seem to kill wildlife with his van more so than others, but even he hasn't turned to peasants yet (i presume these refer to the population North of Watford)
I should have wrote pheasants referring of course to the feathered kind. _________________ TomTom Go 60

Back to the Topic (that's normally difficult for me) -
1st music ever heard (that i can remember) was - "Music while you work" on the radio.
1st singer i remember at school was - Doris Day.
1st record ever bought was - Summer holiday by Cliff Richards in 1963 followed by the album - Bringing It All Back Home by Bob Dylan in 1965, which contained "Mr. Tambourine Man", not sure if i bought any records between those years.
Gigs include James Brown in 1967, through to Diana Ross & the Supremes, lots of soul and Motown, to Eminem at Milton Keynes in 2003 _________________ TomTom Go 60

Someone discovered I could read music and suggested I volunteer for the camp band.
I thought it would be the Navy who would have a 'camp band', not the RAF. |
Anyway...
1st record bought - Can't remember but when I was about 5, I was given Tommy Steele - Little White Bull by my grandad (1959 record).
1st concert - combined appearance of Madness, The Specials and The Selector in 1980 (Tiffany's, Edinburgh)
1st CD bought - Sade - Diamond Life - 1984 _________________ Tommo...
