No closures showing now (01:30) on a route from centre of London to centre of Oxford. Where was it?
Edit: Correction. Just as I was going to bed I picked up the TT to turn it off and it suddenly announced a route change due to road closure (A40 Northolt- Hillingdon
No mention of this on the Highways Agency or BBC traffic websites, *but* both of those have a temporary closure of the M4 J1 to J3 due to night roadworks... has someone at TomTom Towers got the wrong road?
AA Roadwatch however is saying the A40 is closed due to roadworks at North Kensington London (junction with A40M) in both directions. (i.e .a *different part of the road).
Good eh? |

How does one find that out. Probably obvious but I was driving at the time.
Incidentally there was absolutely nothing at Hillingdon/Northolt _________________ Tony

I heard on the radio that the A40 was closed at the Greenford flyover due to an accident.
Also heard the M40 is closed at J4 Southbound and partially Northbound due to lorry hitting the central reservation and shedding its load across both lanes but TT is only showing this as delays albeit nearly 2 hours. _________________ Drivelux |

Ah sorry, I did it on a 940... I just made a demo route at first from London City Centre to Oxford city centre and told it I wanted the journey "now".
When no delays were shown, I tapped the Traffic Bar on the main screen then selected Browse map and zoomed into the M40. |
