Here's with the Grandsons mat, where I can't tell a lot of difference from the tablecloth. But I'll give it a bit longer.

No. It's something that goes on between the mouse and the mat, sort of out of sight. It's got a little green light that says it's on, but every time I lift it up to see if its shining something else, I guess it stops shining to keep me disinformed.

Lazer or optical mice only like flat matt surfaces. Too shiny or too light a colour and it'll reflect the laser, and go lemming on you.

I have an ICEMAT .tm which is a sand blasted peice of black glass. Pixel perfect control.

Did you last as long as half time??

The condition of the pitch was almost as dire as the players' performance

What ever happened to the old Wembley pitch, which we could be proud of - not some waterlogged, bald sad excuse for a pitch that's worse than my local green on a wet weekend

I lasted all the way through courtesy of six bagza crisps and two Stellas.

What was wrong with the pitch? The only goal I ever scored was courtesy of a cow pat which made the ball skid past the goalie.

Do we feel sorry for Steve McLaren?

OK, he did his best

OK, he lost his job

...but they're keeping quiet about the £2m + payout that he's set to receive

Most of us would probably go out of our way to get sacked if we stood to gain over £2m

Just a small problem there - how do I sack myself and pay me £2 ( EDIT MILLION) compensation? I'm all for it, but haven't yet worked out the logistics of it. Confused

I guess that you could walk into work on Monday morning, say "you're fired" and walk out with the contents of the cash box and you'll be laughing.

Other than that, re-negotiate your contract so that of you do a c*** job you'll be paid handsomely Wink

Like many of us, you'd get nothing if you got fired - others are laughing all the way to the bank Crying or Very sad
