Although I haven't got a TomTom x20 nor a Range Rover Sport, would anybody care to make a cursor of Range Rover Sport with black windows in silver, black, or dark grey?

I made it BIG too! Very Happy

Hi mostdom,

Many thanks for the quick creation of that one. It is very good! Thumbs Up

You sir, are a true gent!

Looks like I’ll have to get a x20 unit now doesn’t it?

I know that I’m being really picky here (but if you don’t ask, you don’t get). If I said pretty, pretty please, would you make it the same size as Darren’s Tangiers Orange G4 Discovery?

So I can be really sad and pretend that I have a Range Rover Sport on the map like this? Thumbs Up

Regards,

Rob, why does it need to be the same size as my G4? It'll work just the same?

Ok! Here's a squished, ever so slightly small range rover.

Very dangerous as I think we now know the devices running version 7 software are very different in terms of functionality - perhaps intentional, a simple mistake, or am I going soft and non cynical these days? - Mike

Hey!

The icon is STATIC!

As it often happens with TomTom, nice try but no cookie. Rolling Eyes

I am staying with my Garmin, where the Icon has always been able to follow me through a bootleg reverse.

e.g., here is the tank icon provided by Garmin, extracted in .png using the tools created by Ezran at GPSPassion (you can find them at http://techmods.net/nuvi/ ).

With a 360 viewer or a model car, a bit of time and of work and Ezran's tools, nothing is impossible. Which reminds me that I have a beautiful model of an Avro Vulcan...

If a rotating cursor is gimmicky, then why was TomTom so prompt in implementing a static one, their old arrow should have been more than sufficient...

Regarding Garmin, I do not know when it was introduced, on the StreetPilot and Nuvi and more modern series they added the ability to swap the arrow with a custom vehicle, as it probably it was not so taxing on the system...

AAAARRRHHHH!!! I just noticed the pointy arrow thing on my Navman ROTATES!

NOOOOOOOOOO! Surprised

Least it's not a tank though Wink

Well, it only means that you have never been in the middle of a Roman Traffic Jam, or you would have a desire for a tank, too! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

BTW, here are the vehicles available directly from Garmin:

Cool, should be fairly easy to screen grab some of them for use in TomTom Smile
