Brilliant, so it was something simple in the end.
Now , do I have to re-name all the mp3 files or is there a very nice man going to take care of that for us
To be honest , I wouldn`t know where to start with those files
Thanks again....dilcymro _________________ ***************************************

I've not imagined it though have I? The names I used are the same as the ones generated by Ash's utility? |

They may well be but how many use Ash's utility? _________________ Darren Griffin |

That's not a question I can answer, I do because I'm a lazy whatzit and will do anything (within reason) for an easy life
Thanks for tweaking the filenames for me though although I'd like you to put the readme file back in the zip please. |

Ah yes sorry, wasn't intentional, I'd just zipped up my own install, quick'n'dirty.
Now re-archived with the readme file back in place. _________________ Darren Griffin |

i think there's a good percentage of garmin people who use ash10's camera manager. it may be worth having 2 downloads - one for use with ash10's camera manager and one for the standard pgpsw download?

Ok, done. For now, follow the link in my sig to the voice alerts page. I've added the two options for Garmin onto the bottom.
If I get a lot of voice files for Garmin I'll hive them off and give them their own page. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Phil, I've just been re-packaging them for our standard file naming convention. they're now available on our newly re-named download page along with Feek's. I've offered them in both standard and ASH10 versions.

They don't seem to be available from the 'download' page, unless I am missing something? (I just clicked on 'Downloads' in the 'GPS Central' box on the left hand side).
I can get to them via the link in your signature, but I think it would be better if the link were in the downloads page? |

Don't we need mp3 files for Garmin? I can't find where these are - can you let me know where to find them. Link in sig only seems to have ogg files. _________________ Nick Russell

The Downloads page you refer to is meant as a repository for single files such as manufacturers drivers etc or links to external sites where downloads are located.
I have however added it there anyway. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have tried to load the voice mp3 files onto my Garmin ique M4 via the poi-loader. I pasted the mp3 files into the speed camera folder on my pc & uploaded to the device. On testing, only the warning "boing-boing" sound seems to work as before. Are these files compatible with my ique M4? I will try using the tomtom files on my TTone. |
