New Postcodes file 9th Nov 2007

I've just tried your postcode on my one v1. Its come up as station rd, off lichfield rd. N 52.60725 W 1.96380

Is that the right rd?

I'm running v603 postcodes, on App 7.131 & Uk&Ire v710.1571

Yes it is, either the postcode file is corrupted in later versions or someone has changed it.

I have now updated the second tt500, the same error is now on that one to.

Have Western_Europe_1GB V710.1561 loaded.

Had a play again, Try ws41es house numbers 1 to 41. N52.66665 w2.01636

They try ws41es house numbers 42 plus. n52.60746 w 1.96336

And the post code without house numbers works.

So it looks like a small section of the road is out?

Right played some more. Edited the correct road's name in mapshare, to "Station Road Rushall". Saved the edit and checked the correction, fine so far. Then checked the other Station Road, nw by jnc 17 m6toll, guess what that had also changed to "Station Road Rushall"! So to prove a point I changed the jnc17 Station Road to "Station Road Great Wyrley". You've guest it, the southern correct Station Road Rushall now reads Station Road Great Wyrley? The two locations are linked some how, change one and the other changes as well.

Sent an "Other map error" report to ttshare with the edited name of Station Road Rushall and a lenghty script about this error. So if you see Two Station Road Rushalls the southern one is correct.
