Routes are going to be downloadable from our website soon....they will be added automatically to your content manager when you get them and synchronise with your device.
This is yet another FREE addition to your device that we do.
I have all of them on test in my device and they work just great.....you can review all the POIs and add in stop overs where you want to.
There is walking tours and driving tours too.....
If anyone wants to try one out let me know....I will get the full list of those oin Europe and UK and post them later.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Stu
Thanks for the update onthe routes...
Any thoughts on the MP3 / WMA question?
And how about suggesting a country 'tree' to the developers to make content management easier? (I do like the idea of the content manager tho'). |

I'm sorry to bother you Stu but did you get a chance to check out the TTS improvements in v7. My earlier post was incorrect, it wasn't Western Road that was unintelligible it was High Street, which I think is a bit more of a problem _________________ Mike

I am seriously considering purchasing a ViaMichelin X-980T New Edition to replace my current TomTom Go 700 but have seen reports of difficulty running the software with Windows Vista. Was there ever a problem and if so is it now resolved.
Thanks |

Hi I don't think you will have any problems with Vista on a new device. I think some of the Vista problems are down to the upgrade DVD's expecting to find a previous install of the software and that's were most people seem to get stuck. Maybe the upgrade DVD's should ask for the previous disk to verify rather than searching the HD. |

Stu I would be interested in trying some out, like the idea of the walking tours. Will the tours include interesting facts about the places? I.e. the walking ones will they be able to cut to an MP3 and talk about whatever your looking at? |

Hi Stu, hope you are well.
Thanks for the v7 disk that I received this morning (acknowledged on the v7 thread, gets a bit confusing sometimes with the 2 threads running)
I have a problem and I'm not the only one.
The DVD installs the PC based software OK, but on connecting the X980T it starts to synchronise but then says the SD is not the one supplied in the pack. I've tried a soft and a hard reset to no avail.
The SD is the original one. Is it because I have a Europe version and the update may be UK only as someone else suggested?
Any ideas please?
I would also be interested in any walks around my locality.
Edit 11:15 :- For info the DVD is marked SW_PND7BTSM1_DR. Size 1.94GB _________________ Mike

Guys
Problem solved. It appears the updates I sent out to a couple of you were UK and Ireland only disks - They aren't actually marked with anything but I have just looked in the pile and some of them I have are marked with Europe!!
When you recieve your free updates will get the right disk as its keyed into what you registered with us - This time its a user error.....and the user is me!!
I will replace those sent out - In tonights post!!
Cheers
