Sorry to sound a clutz and I must admit I have not read the full post but do you add the ogg files from Mullet's post in the original TT data.chk file? And is it software version dependant?
Many thanks

SIMPLY copy them into the map folder on your device. _________________ Dennis

I think Andy's answer is perfect. I dunno what data.chk is but I'm off round the estate to see if I can find the piece of my greenhouse which has gone visiting! _________________ Dennis

I have restored the original data.chk file and renamed the GPS voice one, copied the ogg files into my Western Europe map, ran a demo and speed cameras came out as hooters, boing's etc. Any idea what is wrong?

Have a read through #5 on THIS Page, pay attention to the part showing you how to avoid a double file extension, i.e. .ogg.ogg Also make sure that since you added your ogg files that you have actually re-configured all the camera warnings in Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI - The re-selection of each warning allows the TomTom to see the ogg file is present and by default it will pick it up for use - Mike |

Mike, Mullet
Thanks for the response, I now have it working. Admission did not follow all the instructions fully i.e. did not read everything. There is so much info on here but not always in the same forum. I need to slow down and not rush things........
Cheers

Just Downloaded the latest speed camera files & for the past 3 days have been trying to work out how to download & enable ogg files. I still can`t get it! I seem to be missing something on the renaming of files etc. Anyway came accross Mullet`s link & used his ogg files & at last I have a working result. Well done Mullet :D |

A sample in .wav format can be downloaded here without pre siren and here with pre siren.
The full set for all 24 cameras in .ogg format can be downloaded below.

I am missing voices for:
pocketgps_uk_gatso_20
pocketgps_uk_mobile_20
pocketgps_uk_gatso_tba
pocketgps_uk_gatso_var
pocketgps_uk_specs_tba
pocketgps_uk_specs_20
This is with the andy220500 pack from http://tomtomsatnav.info/ for TomTom Navigator 6.
Where can I get them or are there any suitable replacements or altogether better ogg file pack for warnings?
Thanks! |

Those are missing from the originals.
You can either just double up on files you have, or edit the ones you have with Audacity (free sound editor) to remove the wrong speeds.
Or I have done the short PGPSW "computer" ones or Mullet has done the Liz and Vikki voices which he has posted here already. Try a search for "ogg" and his name. |
