Ben - don't worry about losing the data (contacts, appointments, etc) that you have enetered, because if you have used the Active Sync with a PC then they will be stored there and will be put back onto the Ipaq when you re-sync - don't worry as time goes on I am sure you will become a master of the 'reset' I know I have, it's all a learning curve!!
