Hi Andy vaughan

Sorry to be a nuisance but just so I do not remove the wrong thing could you elaborate on 'and the Application' in very simple terms that my 5yr old could understand.

I usually just pick a voice and get on with it and never explore the innards.

More than happy to try it though..

Not a problem, from within HOME with the device connected go to

Manage my GO - Items on Device

Put a tick in the boxes next to Application and Voices and then click on Remove Items from my Device and then click on Don't Copy.

This will remove the Application and Voices from the GO.

Then go back to the Items on Computer tab and do the same - put a tick next to Applications and Voices if they are listed and click Remove Items from Computer.

Now go back to the main menu in HOME and click on Update my GO - you should be offered an application and some Voices. Download the Application and the Voices that you want.

If you don't get offered anything then eject the device and then reconnect and update again.

Thanks for that ...

WE are off to try camping for ten days tomorow so will leave it till we return.

I reinstalled all of the ogg files last night with susan_tts_speedzoned.

Now my speed cameras etc are working and Aussie man is still there blathering on ,might change him to northern man though, so at least the 730 is working upto a point.

Many thanks to all that have suggested stuff and hope to cure it properlywhen we get back.

HI

Just a word of thanks to all who offered advice and especially to Andy Vaughan.

Connected last night deleted application and voices as suggested and updated 730 . Was offered application and about ten voices which were installed.

Device now seems to be working perfectly

many thanks
