I received this reply from TomTom Support:-
Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Care regarding your TomTom GO 920.
The way that the post code look up works has been changed in the latest software application.
We have received negative feedback from users regarding this and this has already been flagged back to our software developers,
Its hoped that this will be resolved in a future software update.

Eh? What? Changed in the latest software application? So why am I using v8.302 to get it back? Is the latest version only the very next one after 8.302?
