I have just purchased an active 520 tomtom mount ,proclip and mini move clip from DSL Developments and they are by far the best solution to mount your sat nav on!! its so easy just to slide the sat nav off the proclip with the mini move clips although it is not a cheap solution .
With the sat nav removed all that remains is the proclip
I have seen dash mounted bean bag mount holders on sale for the tomtom on USA websites they look as they would do a okay job |

thanks for the help in trying to get the right mount. |
It really depends on how the clip attaches to the car. Some use the vent louvres themselves while others clip into the dash but cover over the vent (letting air circulate from behind the clip).
I'm lucky in that I can remove the clip entirely as it doesn't use adhesive to clip in but that is unusual. Using the move clip can at least make it less obvious what you are using it for if you have to leave it attached in the car.
On the Brodit website it shows the clips available for each car and it's part number so that you can order it from elsewhere. _________________ Gerry

DSL Developments are main Brodit agents for the UK.

Hi,
Postman came with my new 720 today, looks good, still not sure where and how to fix it after my go 300 when missing from my car via the side window (yes left it in the car ) it was about 3 years old and the best gadget I have had, so if anyone has ideas on this please let me know.
Ned
ps I have had one, sticking a disc on top of my cup holder that pulls out of the dashboard and putting the standard sucker on when in use, yes, no !! |

What's wrong with just using the standard windscreen mount?
I just slap it on when I get in the car and take it off when I leave. It's actually quicker than what I used to do with my Brodit and move-clip. |
