Is the device PC and Mac compatible. Garmin say they are, TomTom says they are now, but it would be useful in the specifications to have this item confirmed. Although Microsoft think so, the whole world is not PC equipped. |
Fair comment, if the information is supplied we'll post it. As we're Mac users here at PGPS Towers you can be assured that we will mention in any review if a unit is NOT Mac compatible. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Anyone have any feedback on the Medion's. i.e are they any good or are they a cheap and nasty GPS?
It's just not a name I would associate with GPS units, but they must be doing something right if they are still in business. |

They're budget systems but good value for money. The only issue is long term support. They bring out models thick and fast so don't expect long term support, upgrades, new maps etc to be available for older units. _________________ Darren Griffin |

No different to Navman then Don't like companies who fix problems by bringing out new models. Want to fix bugs in your GPS why not buy this shiny new one... NO Thanks!! |

Aye that's very true, and Navman aren't the only others. Very few have offered any real long term support and upgrade potential for their devices.
TomTom stand out, Garmin are pretty good, any others? _________________ Darren Griffin |
