yeah.. like i said before... if you have a 300 go for a 510 - it will do all your major routes of europe, I used my old 300 in france on the MROE and it was fine,.,,

its all does to cost... but i would not change a 300 for a one tho..

I have a GO 300 and the new TT ONE Regional (I bought it to replace the 300 but my wife now uses it so we are a 2 sat nav family!! ) The only gripe I ever had with the GO 300 was its bulky shape which often tempted me to leave it in the glove compartment rather than take it with me. The TT ONE is slimmer and more portable. I cant fault either of them for performance certainly my 300 on v6.52 appears to do everything the new ONE can.

No suprise there. None of them were designed to pick up signals inside a building. The SifStar III chipset often can, it isn't really relevant.

the 300s extra bulk is down to its bigger batteries and better speakers i think.. the all round build quality is probaly better than the one also..

my 300 has the western europe map.. to me it would need at least a 710 for me to consider it a real upgrade..

cant see the point in taking the things out of the car every time u leave it eilther.. if the thief cant see it he dosnt know its there.. plus as the things get cheaper they are no longer quite the desirable items they once were..

i would be more concerned about vehiicle damage during a break in than loseing my old tomtom 300 which on the grand scale of things aint exactly worth that much..

NV one delivered today, had a bit of a play and it seems to be identical software wise as the 300, but is much thinner and the mount is smaller, cant see for a minute that the build quality is inferior,
anyway somebody made a "off ebay" bid of £200, so the 300 is sold and the NV one has cost me £225,

bargain
