I may be wrong but I would imagine that the postcode files available from tomtoms website would work fine. |

Just that these files are publically available. |

This just amazes me.
People post on here saying they are using tt6. Everyone knows that tt6 is not LEGALLY available for download.
Here come the excuses:
I am just trying before I buy
I am using a demo version
I have a copy for evaluation
Finally, I am using a cracked version, whats the problem.
If it is illegal, the mods SHOULD DELETE THE POST.
If it is a copy supplied by TomTom to our more priveledged friends, then maybe its not appropiate to post issues until the general release date. _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

This is also a very effective means of being updated automatically for new versions of voices, maps etc as they are released. The current version is 1.3 _________________ TomTom Go720 v8.320

It's more of a District Code that covers a larger area and is not down to road specific locations. _________________ Richard

OK, so with my O2 Exec and TTN5 I have to copy the ZIP folder to the main memory to use the navigate to postcode functionality. It works fine, but uses up about 8MB of storage memory, which I would prefer to be on the 4GB SD card I have.
Has anyone tried the postcodes on TTN6 with an Exec? Can you leave the zip folder (or equivalent) on the storage card? |

This thread talks of different versions of TomTom Navigator 6, how do you tell which version you have? Is there a way to know? |
