But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
I wonder how long it will be before companies start maintaining this sort of information as a downloadable POI file on their websites.
That's exactly what I was thinking. It does seem to be the way to go. So much of the data out there seems to be out of date (petrol stations in particular). If one of the big manfactures produced an accurate and up to date POI of their forecourt locations, I'd happily become a loyal customer. Of course, most of the time I fill up well before my tank is empty, but there's always an occasion when this doesn't happen, last night for me! I do have a third party petrol POI, but to be honest, I don't have that much confidence in it.

When I worked for a previous company, the fuel cards were changed to BP (from Allstar that could be used anywhere). I emailed BP and asked them if they had some sort of address book in Exel format for their stations. They did, they mailed it be and it was quickly converted into a ov2 set for my TT3.
So, maybe worth a try if you need something in particular.
