Nearly there then Ellemaid.
First remove your SD Card.
Download TTN5.21 from the TomTom site ( I was going to put the link but it's closed for maintenance at the moment) and install to your P350.
Make sure your SD Card is unlocked, small slider tab on side, and insert into a card reader. Double click on 'My Computer' and look for the Card Reader icon, could be D, E, F etc. Right click on the icon and choose Format. Wait until all activity has stopped before doing anything else, as sometimes it appears to have finished the Format but there is a slight delay before it does.
Then install the maps of your choice. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
And NO that's NOT me in the Avatar.
i dont know how to download anything from Tomtom. It wornt let me do anything.
Ive tried formatting the SD card, with it being unlocked. but, it wornt. i dont know why.... t just says, "windowns could not complete it format". ive also tried opening whats in it using my laptop slot. but it says something along the lines of "cannot access E: due to a I/O error.
the memory card is not as it should be. i tried with another SD card, and that worked fine on my laptop and my pda... so im going to get a replacement.
i hope i can get it, since ive opened and tried using it

If you, or a friend, have a digital camera, try putting the non working SD Card into it, you should be told it needs formatting and may do it for you. It still won't work in your P350 so you will have to format it again using your Desk/laptop card reader.
Whether you are able to use the card or have to purchase a new one, install the maps via a card reader, it's quicker.
The TomTom support site is still 'down' at the moment, so it may be best if you PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a copy of the 5.21 file. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
