Help with 510 maps

Ok folks, just got the reply from Navman. I asked:
Enquiry: Hi, I have a European model iCN 510. I am going to the states
(New Hampshire/Maine) on holiday next month and I would like to bring
the 510. If I buy the american Navman mapping software over there, will
it work in my iCN 510???

DJ, I don't think you can use secondhand navman software because the units detect that the licence has been used already, or summat similar.

1. Navman have obviously supplied an old link. Useless!
2. They are right to say that US software for the States will work but what you needed to know is "Do the US SD preloaded cards work on my Navman?" and the answer seems to be NO, according to Navmans web site. which says only 500 series Navmans with the US/Canadian SmartSD software will take the preloaded US SD cards.

If you have time before you go, I suggest another query to Navman would be useful.

You can phone them! Have a good trip anyway
