Well I clicked on that link and a tecnical support page came up - nothing about cameras on that. So I put "cameras" in the keyword seach field and up came an article. You are correct to say that Navman refer to this site for getting the camera database BUT ...... In big bold letters at the beginning of the article it says
"Please note a subscription is required to be able to download this database".
Hardly think they could make that much clearer do you? _________________ Peter

A the bottom of each page of the topics you have subscribed to, on the lefthand side there should be a clickable link saying 'Stop watching this topic' or something similar. _________________ Tim |

To be fair, Peter, I had to go to Navman's offices on another matter and pointed this out to the man who maintains the webpages. The 'Please note' sentence was added at my request. _________________ Tim |

Correct. The seller states free updates from the web.
However the seller does not refer you to Navman and Navman do not refer to free updates. The two are not connected. _________________ Tim |

They are connected when they verbally refer you to Navman then on to you...... What is this, a help forum or a pedantic exchange of unhelpful dialogue...
The best help you can be now is to tell me the path to opt out of this topic |

Look, your argument is with the company you bought the device from, not Navman and certainly not PocketGPSWorld.
This is a help forum; it is not a place where definitions are changed to suit your particular requirements.
I've already told you how to opt out of the topic but here is another way.
The email you receive will provide you with a link.
"If you no longer wish to watch this topic you can either click the "Stop watching this topic link" found at the bottom of the topic above, or by clicking the following link:"
I haven't added the link because it might be paticular to me. However, you will find one in your email message. _________________ Tim |
