Our postcode covers just 4 houses, i have checked with royal mail & searched on multimap both find it no problem.
This postcode has never actually been assigned before, i know this becuase i had the joy of setting it up last year with our local district coucil & royal mail.
I have found something rather interesting though, if i put the same postcode in the RAC route planner it makes exactly the same error, do they use the same database 
It has never caused me any major grief as this is the only error i have been aware of & i set my home location from the system itself

Hmmm, yes your right, cant find Cardiff from address, not very good really considering Cardiff is the largest City in Wales!, the only way you can find cardiff atall is from city.
Dont think i'll be getting rid of my PDA just yet.

| My i3 does find Cardiff from the Address selection and I suspect they all do. You do have to select Wales as a Country - scroll down to the bottom of the Country list! |

in a good way or a bad way? the main site or the blog? just being nosey now :D
back on topic now though, i assume the problems with certain postcodes can only really be fixed by the people who make the maps - i would presume that the location of each and every postcode/road etc comes from the map data...
has anyone heard back from garmin about what happens with map updates?
