Sorry folks, have just seen this topic.

If you legally own both versions (ie not through an upgrade) then yes, you can certainly discuss the question. It was obvious from the removed posts that that was not the case (ie those posts clearly talked about upgrade/downgrade).

This aside, we don't know of any way to use v5 maps with v3, and TomTom is actively preventing the other scenario too (using v3 maps with v5). So nothing to see here, please move on... Confused
