i bumped into a tomtom rep in curry's over the weekend who told me the upgrade to navigator 5 was free of charge but a charge would be applied if u wanted to update the maps and use their own postcode system. she was also expecting the release date to be the 13th may. _________________ Mitac Mio 168

But surely version 5 won't work with the old maps. So a free upgrade to v5 is a pretty pointless gesture, as you can't use it untill you pay for the updated maps!

Don't worry I've given up waiting and ordered TT3 today (having finally found someone who had stock at a sensible price!) so you can expect tt5 to be released in the next hour or so
I decided I'd rather have a copy of TT3 incase to many of the features I want are missing from 5, also I can wait till after the rush for tt5 dies down and get some more views on it.

Where did you order this from? i'm thinking along the same lines, maybe to order TTN3 and wait a couple of months for TTN5. |

Well I spoke to soon, I ordered from RLsupplies, but I have found out this afternoon they don't actually have stock, but are expecting more soon. All the sub £100 dealers appear to be out of stock and I can't see anymore coming into stock unless someone discovers some in a warehouse.......
