You can also cycle through the various readouts by pressing the left or right direction of the cursor button. So many ways....so little time. |

Well, Tim, I must be unusual. If I switch on my Navman, and if I do not have any route set, I can access three of the display settings in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. That is Speed (i.e.MPH), Time and compass bearing. The other view options merely have a dash ( - ). Could it be that I have downloaded and installed the Service Pack 1 - all this despite what it says on page 19 of the Handbook. _________________ Gee-Pee

Tim, despite what you say (and indeed the Manual on page 19) I do get three display options working without any route being set. Speed (MPH/KPH), Bearing and time!
Could it be that I have downloaded and installed Service Pack 1?
The other options are merely shown as dashes (-)... _________________ Gee-Pee

I apologise for repeating myself. The second post was added when the first did not appear. _________________ Gee-Pee

It is more likely that the manual is out of date. That is the trouble with offering support from manuals; I do not own a 510 otherwise I'd naturally have checked it out myself. _________________ Tim |

On the ICN 510, with no route you can toggle bettween heading, time and speed by either using the 4 way L/R button, the sylus clicking on the lower right hand corner or the 4 way L/R on the remote without having a route loaded for other functions you have to have a route loaded. |
