ActiveSync 3.8 is out

I use 3.7.1. I have always had an intermittent problem where the number of emails it tries to synchronise with Outlook gets progressively higher and higher til it runs out of memory and the only way to get it to work again is to disable email sync and start from scratch. As an example I might receive 20 emails but it tells me I have to sync 200, then as soon as that finishes it says there are 350 to do etc etc. You also end up with loads and loads of duplicated emails in various folders with blank fields for the sender details. Very annoying. I hope 3.8 addresses this but it doesn't sound like it will.

Just to let you know, I tried to download 3.8 twice and it totally screwed up Active Sync - so I have had to revrt back to good old 3.7 - I wish I could tell you why it didn't work but I can't - sorry!

i formatted my computer and after setting everything up running winxp with 4 other users i decided to try activesync 3.8 but every time a user is logged off and another logged on i have more than 1 activesync icons in the taskbar,i have gone back to ver 3.7 and no problems.
