UK gatso var NOT showing in my list of POI's on the actual TomTom but ARE showing in MyTOMTOM on the pc as being there.
Anyone have any idea why they aren't showing on the TomTom? |

No immediate bright ideas...
A couple of top of my head thoughts...
Which method did you use to upload via MyTomTom, "single zip file" or normal "dozens of individual files"?
What happens if you click on "Remove" in MyTomTom for the Gatso-var category and re-install just that set of files?
In fact, what happens if you just re-upload everything like on a normal weekly update?
Finally, (for evidence), a couple of photos or screen grabs showing gatso-var on the list in MyTomTom but not on the list on the Start itself would be really handy. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

Downloaded the MyTomTom zip UK zoned complete along with female voice with chimes as per the installation guide. Then went through the setting up via 'add poi' in mytomtom, everything showed up on the poi list on the pc but gatso var not on the add poi list on actual Start 20 although all the other cams were there.
Anyway in the end took the erase suggestion and took out all 4 gatso var files and then reloaded them from the opened zip file and reset My Start 20 and there they were. God alone knows why they didn't show before!!
Problem solved.
Cheers for the help, much appreciated. |

It might be an un-diagnosed problem with the "zip file" method...
TomTom only introduced that method to get round a problem with selecting large numbers of POI files "all in one go" in MyTomTom for people who use Internet Explorer as their browser. (It works fine if you use other browsers).
So far, it has always worked fine on my Go1000 and Go1005 models, but I spent this morning tying to get it to work with another forum member on his Go5150 "Truck" model.
MyTomTom simply would NOT open up the zip file itself. Eventually we had to swap over to using Google Chrome as his browser and use the "normal" method of unzipping all the individual files ourselves and uploading those. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
