NYDITOT or Jimmy Landscape. Be aware that not many programs support that. You can alo get into trouble when you have a password set on your Pocket PC - the password dialog is cut off in landscape mode and you may not be able to get back into the Pocket PC...
2003 Second Edition has orientation change built in, and all the operating system applications will be orientation aware. _________________ Lutz

If you want password support in Landscape mode, consider installing Nice Start (from Trancreative).
I believe the best mode to use Nyditot in is the one where the screen resolution or orientation change only lasts until you soft reset again. That way, if something goes wrong, you just have to soft reset again to be back to 240 by 320 portrait.

Second Edition is not yet available. How manufacturers intend handling updates is not yet known, some have commited to providing upgrades for some models wheras others have remained silent on the subject. Similarly if it is made available it is not yet known if it will be free or chargeable. _________________ Darren Griffin |

You'll be glad to hear that as far as the h2210/2215 is concerned HP are rumoured to be supporting this model with a WM2003SE update, if you believe the rumour mill a mid June release is on the cards. 1940 owners will be dissappointed though as no update will be forthcoming for this model. _________________ Darren Griffin |

It would appear that Windows mobile 2003 SE is already available for download for the Toshiba e800 PPC. _________________ Ian.

The e800 is the obvious device for a 2003SE upgrade, being a VGA screen device.
I doubt 2003SE will introduce that much new functionality - indeed, the review here suggests that the main feature is the support for different screen resolutions and landscape / portrait switching. Apart from a few minor tweaks to Pocket IE and the welcome addition of WPA support to the wireless networking code, that sounds to be about it.
It's been known for some time that a more complete rewrite of Pocket PC will happen some time - not least to improve the basic built in applications (which haven't really changed since Pocket PC 2002). It sounds like this could be another 18 months or 2 years away.
