|

Hello guys, is there a way of forcing my 920 to rebuild the navcore app without losing all my "stuff"? I have various explorer backups but I'd like a fresh install but then don't know how to get all my "stuff" back on.
Thanks. |

Do you mean a fresh install of the Navcore software or every file and folder the device needs to work? - Mike |

I'm not sure, it's just a bit slow and I'm getting a few errors, what's best? |

It's easy to reinstall the Navcore.
First, you make a full, windows explorer backup of the system (see the FAQs at the top of this forum section)
Then you just delete all the files which are NOT in folders, leaving all the folders and their contents alone.
(If you're not sure what the difference is between a file and a folder, ask for more help first).
After that, connect to TomTom's Home utility and it will download a fresh copy of the latest software. |
