Does anyone know when this is coming out. The American one has been out for a while now, so I hope the Europe one comes out soon. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 3790T Firmware 4.30

Yes me too - its overdue now and a few forum messages elsewhere have mentioned it may not be released. Cannot see that happening but no word from Garmin - and I have emailed them twice with no response
Anyone? _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Don't worry - it's on it's way. I talked to the Garmin support team in Sweden today, & they told me that it will be available for download "very soon now"...

Thanks great news Televinken, as many of us are off on holidays or enjoying a break sometime soon, knowing we have the most up to date maps is already reassuring when visting new places _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Anyone heard on the map update yet? It's a month behind now, so we'll be anticipating another before too long... or claiming a refund! _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Yes but it was originally promoted as a quarterly update, up to 4 per year. Obviously there are ALWAYS 4 updates if they are quarterly
Either way it doesn't give customers any confidence in the Garmin NuMaps offering, and people will just buy elsewhere - I have 2 NuMaps subscriptions and 1 FreshMaps from Navigon. The NuMaps cost £200 for the pair, Navigons under £20 for 2 years for the same deal (my unit will be defunct after 2 years)
If they don't release their update soon - or at least let us know when (surely that isn't much to ask), then I will spend my money elsewhere in future
In these days communications overload, surely an update from Garmin on the late arrival of the maps is the decent thing? _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Yeah, I'm getting pretty hacked off waiting for the new update. I bought my unit in April and it tells me about once a month that the maps are over a year out of date!

Actually, just checked my myGarmin maps page. It says I purchased the unit on April 29th (nuMaps OneTime CityNavigator Europe NT) but that they expired on May 13th, 2009.
I spoke to Customer Services at Garmin today about the 2010.20 update (working on the basis that if it is out in the next 60 days, I get it for free) and the Customer Service Rep said that they had absolutely no idea when the .20 update was due out for Europe... Doesn't inspire a load of confidence! _________________ Nuvi 765T, CoPilot on iPhone....

Well the Americans don't usually get them before us - no more than a day or so anyway, which is why it is even more worrying that Garmin have decided not to provide us with Europe 2010.20 - and perhaps never will by the sound of things _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

This is what we suspected since 2010.20's non-appearance on time, Garmin ripping people off for the map updates
I've two units with the £99 NuMaps registered for them, and I will probably ditch these on ebay or somewhere now and concentrate on my Navigons (2 years of QUARTERLY map updates for under £20, and already have the 2010.20 content!)
Sad day for Navigation and Garmin, when not only admit they cannot compete but they mislead people in the process
Will never buy Garmin again if this proves to be true, irrespective of any future model spec. Shame _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600
