When I connect my new TomTom 540 Live to the car mount all sound is cut off. The sound returns to normal once the TomTom is removed from the mount. Has anyone else had this problem? I am still awaiting a reply from TomTom surport. |

Look at Change Preferences/ Speaker Preferences and make sure the sound output is set to use the internal speaker - Mike |

Many thanks for that. I had it set to 'Bluetooth Speaker' option which I sometimes use. Reading the instruction, I thought that the TomTom reverted automaticly to the internal speaker if the Bluetooth one was not found. Is this not what is meant to happen?
But thanks again for the speedy response. |

It will auto detect if the line out socket is being used when connected to the add on mount with extra connection points, it doesn't seem to revert back from the Bluetooth mode though once selected - Mike |
