|
|
Hi, sorry if this has been covered already.
I have a TT go 300 with version 7.903 s/ware. I have downloaded the latest Speed camera database (January 2009), both as Single file and consolodated. I can't get either to show on my Go.
The cameras POI have been working ok in the past. I think October cameras was the last time I updated.
Is it a problem with the TT go s/ware upgrade?????
Can anyone advise please.
Thanks |

You probably have too many POIs installed, how many POI files (inc the speed cams) can you see in the map folder where the speed cameras are? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren, thanks for the reply. I have no other POI in my map folder. I only have the default ones that came with my TT about 2 years ago.
I have just recently updated the GB Map and TT software.
The first problem I had a few weeks ago was that all was working OK until i updated the GB Map, then I spotted that none of the speed cameras were beeping as i approached, even though I had warn when near POI etc....selected.
Tonight I have updated the system software again to the latest version, and downloaded the camera file. This is when nothing appeared in the Manage POI, however when I selected delete POI I could see a PocketGPS sc file so I deleted that. re loaded the Jan cameras into the map folder, but still noting.
Very strange. |

Perhaps you now have two map folders following the upgrade and the POIs are in the wrong folder?
In manage maps, do you have the option to switch to another map? _________________ Darren Griffin |

You are aware that you don't need both single file & consolidated versions on your device? They duplicate exactly the same cameras! |
