The A12 between Leyton and Wick has been showing up on the HD Traffic on my GO940 as "Blocked" in both directions for the last two weeks and I keep on getting asked if I want to accept a re-route. The A12 has been open every time I have used it and none of the radio traffic reports have mentioned any temporary or overnight closures, nor are there any roadworks of any sort going on there.

I also noticed that the "old" A12 (now called something else) is also marked as blocked and now browsing round the traffic map, an "Accident" on the M26 between the M25 and the Wrotham junction has been there for days...

A support case to TomTom came back with a completely irrelevant pre-prepared message about maps not always being completely up to date and suggesting that I learn how to use map-share. When I suggested they actually read my question they suggested that I drive along the road so their system will realise it's open. Am I the only TT Live subscriber to drive along the busiest road in East London in the last two weeks?

By the way, all these are shown on the HD Traffic page of the TT website so it's not just me...

No. I drove from the Blackwall Tunnel to the Homerton(?) exit northbound on the 23rd of this month. It was showing as blocked in each direction and I reported it to TomTom. I come back to the Blackwall a different way as it saves me 20 or so minutes, so haven't driven the A12 southbound for quite a while.

Had a similar issue with it continually telling me that the M69 was blocked - it wasn't. Interestingly I switched on my PDA and the GPRS traffic didn't say it was blocked (HD Traffic did)

you might find some Censored has blocked the road via mapshare .try turning off map share or limit your mapshare to trusted only ( I think it is ) and leave all uses (again can't remember ) unticked ..or try and find the blocked section and use mapshare to unblock road again

No- its definitely HDT, not mapshare.

I drove back up the M6 yesterday, and my 740 wanted me to leave the motorway just north of Stafford services. I ignored it, and it was all clear. Now, the road was marked as a purple colour, and was the location of an incident on Thursday that my wife avoided, so it looks like it may be that which caused it. I had a good HD Traffic signal at the time, and had done on the way down and most of the way back.

A prepare route just now, having updated my device in Home, shows no such diversion, so I guess it is cleared, but I post anyway as it might give more information for what is happening here.
