|
|
Have finally surcumed to downloading the new V8.15 mapping and have an SD card with V8.2 on and V8.3 on the internal drive. Both have the new map on.
I love the new smooth icons on V8.2 so my question is - if I use V8.2, does it take advantage of all the new map features plus I get the benefit on the new improved icons?
Thanks
Doug

Yes, you can use all the new feaures of the v815 map with this SW. The only thing I've noticed not working with 8.204 is the GPRS Traffic feature, but that is not related to the map. RDS TMC works fine though. |

High Occupancy Vehicles.....
Don't know if you have such designations in Europe; we do in certain locations in North America. It refers to lanes on a highway that can only be used by vehicles with 2 or more occupants. (In some places, perhaps the restriction is 3 or more occupants). _________________ David |

Thanks, David, for that! If our government can find another way of taxing you, they will bring this in, no doubt!

Its been applicable to the UK for quite some time see Here for one such example, I did see stories where people were dressing up dummies and putting them in the passenger seat, this apparently worked until the authorities decided to use thermal cameras...... Mike |

But, a heated dummy, plugged into the cig outlet, might work then? |
