Does anyone use Houghi's .ITN creator with Google Maps? I have been trying to do this lately and it doesn't seem to work anymore, anyone else having this problem? |

It worked last time I tried it.
Did you remember that you MUST move the start and end positions slightly, even if you put them back again afterwards?
EDIT: No, I just tried it and I'm having trouble too.
When I paste the URL into http://houghi.org/tomtom/index.php it throws up an error saying it can't find co-ordinates for one of the waypoints or the destination.

I found it didn't work anymore but I now use TYRE and it's so much better - brilliant program. |

True. The advantage of the "Houghi" script was that it worked with Google Maps when Tyre only worked with Google Earth (so you could use it if you were out and about when Google Earth wasn't available). Tyre works with both Maps and Earth now though.
You still need to be able to download and install Tyre, so you wouldn't be able to use it in a cybercafe or suchlike.
I presume it's Google who have tweaked something that has stopped it working? |

Yeah i use TYRE at home but when doing it at work they won't let me install TYRE so used to use Houghi's script.
I am pretty sure it is a google thing because no matter how many times you move the start icon when you move the end icon, it always picks up the street name for the start icon and vice-versa.
I also tried just copying the link to a word doc and it seems to bear this out, it always picks up the street name for the first moved point when you move the second point. |
