|
|
Just downloaded & installed Checkpoint & the SC database & it won't let me set anything up manually. If I go into general setting I can select:
Check POI's every x seconds & Button for recording POI.
But there is no checkbox for Auto Start or Stop, so can't select it.
Also when I go into properties all the info is there but greyed out, can't set speed or warning distance or even select a WAV file nothing is selectable.
Is it me or the software?
Cheers

Sorted everything apart from being able to have Checkpoint start & stop inconjunction with Tomtom. There are just no check boxes evident like there are on the PGPS instruction screen picture...
Confused Dave..... |

If you go into your Today screen, you should see a CheckPOInt icon at the bottom right once CheckPOInt is running. Tap this and go into the setup screen and there will be a check box to tick to say start TomTom Navigator when CheckPOInt starts. All you then need to do once you have set this is to tap the icon and exit CheckPOInt and re-run it, or perform a soft reset and next time you run CheckPOInt it will start TomTom Navigator for you. |

Thanks Dave, the soft reset worked. Is a soft reset usually neccesary when you instal a new piece of software? Being a noob I presumed a soft reset was something you did when something went wrong...

In most cases a soft reset isn't required, but I suspect you already had CheckPOInt running in background, so you could have exited CheckPOInt and re-run it and it would have done the same job. |
