hi, when i put my 2210 in the desktop holder to synch to my pc,i get a screen that comes up and says add/remove program and another one that says retreiving data advice ,and then it synchs ok ,its more annoying than anything how do i get rid of this?

One of your programs failed to install properly from the desktop to the PocketPC. This kind of stuff normally goes away when you install another program (and don't interrupt the process ;-) ) _________________ Lutz

Thanks Lutz ,i will leave it as it is the only thing i have done recently is to install the current version of safety camera database v2.011 and its only done this since today ,strange things these computers!

The chances are that there's an unwanted entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\AutoStartOnConnect on your PC that is firing up the Application Manager (ActiveSync's Add/Remove Programs application) when your device connects to ActiveSync.
If you go there with a registry editor, you may be able to fix the problem by deleting the errant entry - but be careful, as there may be some wanted entries there.

Thanks for info Dave, i just did a back restore date on my desk pc and all is well ,everything back to normal,i am not up to speed with referance to what you mention way beyond me
