|
|
Hi There,
I dont know yet if were a smart move or not, but I went into one of those Cash XChange shops over Christmas and picked up an IPAQ 3850 with a Navman sleeve (but no charges cables software or anything else) for 90 quid.
I have managed to get the Navman working by finding some drivers on the internet, but I don't know which version it is, either a 3000 or 3400 etc etc. THey dont put the model on the sleeve, although there are serial numbers etc.
Can anyone tell me how to find out which model I have?
Many thanks |

Hi,
The 3000 and 3400 are essentially the same. The 3000 shipped with rebadged TomTom software and the 3400 came with SmartST Pro, Navman's own software. The sleeve will run either, or any (?) of the other offerings, like Destinator, TomTom Navigator, etc. _________________ Tim |

Hi!
What a good price! In the unlikely event you have the latest 3450, this can be easily identified by having Navman SE in the sleeve.
If you want to buy cheap routing software, this is available on eBay but check that it is unused as the activation code may not work. TomTom 2 is generally available but do not pay more than £100 for a software only package as you can buy it from retailers for approxmately £120.
