This is driving me crazy. I am not techy so anything complex about rejigging the Java JTAG Linux serial EEBLOP is gonna burn my brains severely . All I know is my TomTom refuses to cooperate due to connect2internetdb.ver not responding when I try to do an update!
1) I apologise for being a dimmee
b) It will be YOUR fault if I set fire to my head in frustration because the issue wasn't sorted out to my desired timescale
iii) I hpoe this full and detailed explanation of the problem is enough for you clever folks to address my query.
Get weavin' and do my bidding....please |

iii) No.
You're gonna have to give some more details of how the problem manifests itself...
What error message do you get that tells you the problem is caused by that file?(and when). |

I had this recently when I purchased 2 910's (one for my dad)
I was trying to do an update and the first one went fine, but the second one kept coming up with corrupt file, and wouldn't update.
I couldn't delete the file as it wouldn't let me, but it did allow me to rename it. I then copied over the same file from my other 910 and it updated fine. I was then able to delete the corrupt file.
Dont know why it happened, but if I hadn't had another 910 I wouldn't have been able to do the update.
Not sure its the same error as your getting, but it sounds similar.
Have you a full backup you can restore said file from? _________________ Garmin Emap, Ipaq 2210 with TomTom Navigator 5, TomTom One, Pioneer AVIC-X1R, TomTom 910 (stolen). TomTom 520, TomTom 6100 (Faulty, replaced under warranty), Currently got a TomTom 6200 |
