But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

Hi,
Can any one tell me what Maximum Speed and Sign Posts actually mean. I have a 6.60 version but I cannot see anything remotely as suggested. TT website suggests that you can even configure the display information. So far I can't find it. Can anyone help.

Maximum speed is where it shows the actual speed limit of the road as well as your present speed.
This is the third post about it on this forum today!
My answer in THIS POST has some links to other, earlier topics where it is discussed.
As for the "Road signs". There has been less discussion about that here, but here are some quotes from the YourNav forum...
Quote:
Has anyone managed to test the "Show direction with local name or exit" and "Show exit with name" features
Quote:
While driving today my route shows the names of the exits.
Before it shows "Exit A1", now shows "Exit A1 South" with road no as on the sign.
Quote:
on my commute i use the M606, M62 & M621 & at the top of the screen where the road number usually shows it now shows the road number, exit & destination - for example as i leave the M606 to head east onto the M62 it shows '1 Hull' meaning M606 J1 towards Hull. On the M62 heading towards my next exit onto the M621 it shows '27 Leeds' (M62 J27).

Sorry I should have also said how are they shown on the screen. I have a xx/yy display on the bottom right of the screen. Is this all I should see.

That is showing the speed you are traveling at in relation to the speed of that section of the road you are on, The road speed is hardcoded into the map data, which may or may not be correct. _________________ Graham.
