Deleting old map - which one?

I've just downloaded the full European map file (took 5 goes of the 980MB file and about 3 hours! Tip: the download ran much faster just before midnight.) and have installed it on my TomTom Go700 after TTHome extracted the files.

Thing is, I'm worried about deleting the wrong map. I've got two maps showing on my TomTom in TTHome: Western Europe (660) - 903.7MB, and Western Europe (606) - 1.3GB.

If the numbers are any indication the 606, 1.3GB map is the older one. What worries me is that the new one would therefore be a smaller file 903.7MB. Could this mean that I've not downloaded the full Euro maps (perhaps just major roads), or have TT just managed to compress the maps even more?

Sorry guys, I've just found the answer on this topic:

The older file is the 606 but it's bigger because it includes Poland, Canary Islands and Czech Republic, whereas the newer map doesn't.

Funny, I thought the EU was getter bigger, not smaller!

Still, I can't see me driving in any of those countries and I can always restore my backup if I do.
