Interesting....
If what we've all been led to believe is true, what you're seeing doesn't add up. If the green light is on, it SHOULD be charging.
I've found that the right-angled plug on the CLA can sometimes be pushed out by the fixing bolt when you move the mount around. But in that case, the green light wouldn't stay on.
Howver, having said that, a couple of weekends ago I took my kids to a big three-day music festival. The car was parked in a huge field, surrounded by similar fields, so I thought I'd mark the position and take my Go300 with me, so I could find my way back.
It had been a three hour drive so the Go should have been well charged, but as I walked away from the car I switched the Go on and it came up with the flashing "low battery" warning.
Cursing, I assumed it couldn't have been sitting on the base properly, so switched it off again quick.
In the end, I didn't actually need it to get back to the car three days later, but when I fired it up to drive home, it now said the battery was full.
So (sorry for the long, rambling story) it was definitely telling lies at some point! |
