The synchronization Settings is greyed out so I cannot enter my email or code. I think this is preventing the software from working as I am not getting any warnings for speed cameras etc. I have already registed with POIPlace, but do not seem to be able to set up on the pocket pc. Any ideas? |

CheckPOInt needs to knwo which maps you are using. If you've not 'told it' then the Sync will be greyed out.
Start checkPOInt and then touch 'Navigate' this will start TT (or swithc to it if it's running).
This allows the application to set the current map TT is using.
Then go back to CheckPOInt and the sync option should be available.
Good Luck. |

cheers mate, already tried that. No luck. I have given up & removed checkpoint. Shame as I really liked the software when I used it with the old tomtom. |

The other possibility with this is that in v5.0.2+, checkPOInt will not sync when TTN is running (to avoid file locking errors according to the release notes).
So do not start checkPOInt from within the TTN menus, start it from the today screen, if using this, or from the programs folder (and do not click 'Navigate'). Then it should be OK. |
