Hi Geoff,
I don't know anything about Ozi files, but do know a little about Memory Map. Firstly, you don't say where you're located and it depends if you're trying to use the Ordnance Survey (UK) or European/World version. You can't calibrate ANY maps on the OS version because of licence restrictions. However, if you do have the OS version, you can download the European edition from the MM website and it should work with your OS license key. Both versions can be run "side by side" on the same PC.
I don't think even the European edition of MM will import .jpg files, but you should be able to convert .jpg images to .png (8 bit) format using an image processing package such as Paintshop Pro. These can be imported into MM Navigator (European) and can be calibrated from scratch (but I don't know if there's any way to use .jgw files).
Yes I have the European/ international version,( i'm in France) and it says in the help files that it will import jpg images with jgw calibration files.(v. 5.0.2)
I know that I can convert the images to png, (and then generate jpr files using DRG Mapcal from the Ozi .map files), but this is a lossy way to use the images, and I would like to use the .jpg's direct if I can - anyone else?

Hi Geoff,
Have you tried Memory Map's own support forum? They have several IT/Moderators who give prompt answers to the more straightforward questions, and sometimes one of their software developers (I think) in the USA pops up to answer the more "interesting" questions.
At this time, I do not know of an easy way to convert the MAP files to JGW files, but there is a program called IrfanView which can batch convert the JPG files to PNG files. I am pretty sure it is freeware. That should speed things up a bit.
Many thanks Greymane - when I actally counted there were three hundred and six images, so Irfan view helped a great deal.
Its just a shame I can't use the original jpg's - they are about 20% of the size on disc as either .qct's or png's - I guess I will keep them and try again later.
