Yeah, looks interesting. A reworked POI system (about time!) and a better 3D mode with annotations is welcome too as the PN 3D stinks, especially since the update.
Looks like a solid proggie if they've got it right. However, to compete with the Tom Toms of this world it has to be sexy too. Smooth movement and a logical way around the interface, etc. Looks promising I must say and the TMC options still being there make it appealing too. Some other progs seem to be having relationship problems with TMC.
Funny how we went from 3 to PN to 6 though!
Be nice to give it a test drive. I just did 2,000 miles around France, Switzerland and Italy over the weekend and PN did OK so I'd be keen to vet it against that. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Destinator PN is quite a solid piece of software once you get used to it, and I am quite looking forward to upgrade to v6.
Destinator is the only company who has managed to provide TMC on the PDA (despite it being available on incar units/standalone). All other companies have citied licensing issues - however Destinator sorted this, and is now going one step further by trafficmaster data
The press release mentions "TMC-Pay-Service", supporting TM Data, and freely available traffic information. Hopefully this software doesnt lose support for iTis data (which to data has been freely avaliable - even though subject to a license fee). If so this will make D6 the first system able to use both iTIS and TM Data at the same time!
Hopefully D6 will also sort out the voice for third exit - this has existed for far to long. Also PN always provided over optimised estimates of ETA - hopefully destinator have sorted this, or at least provided an option to adjust the speed profile/or slow/fast car settings.
