I'm sure I'm being thick but having looked at the speed camera database info on the website can't figure out how to import the POI's into Mapsource so that I can transfer them to my Quest. Any help would be much appreciated. |

It isn't easy to do on the Quest. You can open the POI files using Mapsource but there is a limit to the number of waypoints you can have so you can't upload them all to the Qust.
One of the users here, WiRED has made a custom POI overlay that you can upload to the Quest see this thread. You will have to reload the maps into the Quest at the same time so make sure you have your CitySelect CD unlocked and ready to go.
The main problem is that although it shows the camera locations, it won't alert you when you get near one _________________ Gone fishing! |

Oh yeah, the other thing to do is to write to Garmin and (politely) ask them to retrofit the "POI Loader" to the Quest. The Quest2 has it so I can't see why the original Quest shouldn't be capable of doing POI alerts too!
If enough people ask Garmin then they may just do it... _________________ Gone fishing! |
